Backloop
How to jump a backloop with side offshore wind
Antoine Albert shows how to jump a backloop when the wind is blowing diagonally offshore. The wave does not run head-on to the direction of riding (as in sideshore winds), but rolls in from leeward at a lower angle in side offshore winds.
Accordingly, you have to lift the upwind rail directly after take-off and jump into the wind a little more than you would normally do.
