Windsurfing is a complex sport in which many components must be precisely tuned to work together. Just as changing the position of the mast foot affects handling, the choice of fin can positively or negatively impact a board’s performance.

Duotone manufactures fin models and sets precisely tailored to its own boards, utilizing various manufacturing processes. Kai Hopf and Daniel Aeberli are responsible for the designs. For boards with more than one fin, the fins are sold as a set with sizes that are matched to each other.

Different materials and constructions are sometimes used within a single set. In the “Fin Set Tri,” the center fin is milled from a black G10 block, while the two tracker fins are molded from fiber-reinforced plastic. In the “Fin Set Quad,” all four fins are milled from G10.
